Hotin = ??? No such word in Sinhala
But Awa-hothin = If (somebody) come
Giya-hothin = If (somebody) go
Baluwa-hothin = If (somebody) look etc. etc.

Anna = See There
Monawada = What
Wewa = Tank (Reservoir of Rain Water in the Dry Zone of Sri Lanka.)
Nadda or Nada = Is not there ? ( Watura Nadda ? = Is not there water ? )
Hena Dakka = I saw the "Hena". Hena means the temporary vegitable cultivating field inside the forest in Dry Zone.

Hondata = better
Kawada is kind of right, but it's pronounced more like Kaooda.
Rassa = tasty, rassa da = is it tasty?
Anna or Anne? Anne is nails.
Monawada = what/what is it?

hodata = well.

eg: Hondata kavada?= Eat well?/Did you eat well?
(here 'ka' in 'kavada' is pronounced as in the 'ca' in 'cat').

kawada = who

eg: Kawada hoyanne?=Who are you searching for?

rasada = tasty?
rasaii=tasty ('saii' as in 'sign' without the 'n' sound)
rasa=taste

eg Kama rasada?= Does the food tasty? ('ka' in 'kama' is pronounced as in the 'ca' in 'cat').

hotin = ????

anna =there

monawada? = what?

eg. monawada oney=what do you want

wawa = ???

nadda (or nada) = no?

Thama ave nadda?=Still didn't come

Hena dakka = ?? This might mean "saw lightning"
hena=lightning
dakka=saw
